No steamy sequence between Salman-Asin in Ready: Anees Bazmee

Director Anees Bazmee has denied rumours that his forthcoming film 'Ready' includes a steamy sequence between leading stars Salman Khan and Asin. "I don't know where these rumours came from. There is no steamy sequence between Salman and Asin in 'Ready'," said Bazmee.

The director insisted that the film is squeaky clean and has no such scene which might make it unfit for family viewing. "I don't make films which I can't watch with my own family. Look at any of my films so far, they can be seen comfortably without worrying that anything untoward may come on screen," said Bazmee.

"Whatever little intimacy is shown on screen, it is a part of a song and dance sequence. That too is strictly within the boundaries," he added. Comedy continues to be his poison, what with 'Thank You' releasing before 'Ready'. Also, couple of months back Bazmee had another comic release in 'No Problem'. Doesn't the director in him ever crave to make some serious cinema? "Who said comedy isn't serious business? I do my job rather seriously. A film of mine may or may not work but then no one can say that I made a cheap comedy. Also, vulgarity doesn't have any place in my cinema. I don't believe in having any double meaning dialogues in my films," he said.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali has recently admitted that he makes films, not money, so reviving an old film requires courage. If the recent buzz is to be believed than the director has started thinking again about his magnum opus Bajirao Mastani with Salman and Kareena. The movie was planned in the year 2003 and Sanjay was eager to have Aishwarya Rai in the lead role of Mastani opposite Salman. But because of the Salman and Aishwarya break-up, the director abandoned the thought of making the film with the couple.

Later he went on to make other films but he couldn’t actually part with Bajirao Mastani. Sanjay even thought of Kareena at that time for the role but nothing could materialize. Afterwards, Bajirao Mastani was tagged as a jinxed film.

The film narrates the love story of Peshwa Bajirao and his second wife Mastani, who was a Muslim. Their relationship was also the reason of much rift in the orthodox Marathi society of that time and led to a major crisis within the royal Peshwa family. Mastani was a brave lady; she was a skilled horse-rider and used to go to the battlefield with her valiant husband.

With a skilled director like Sanjay, we can expect Bajirao Mastani to be another grandiose, epic film.

A source close to Nikhil says, "The two have been bonding for some time. In fact, Nikhil was in the front row at the Being Human show in Mumbai.

One day, Sallu told the young actor he had something for him and got him two jackets. He then got him four more.

In fact, he's even worn some of them in his films like Saajan and Hum Aapke Hain Koun. In those days, Salman would often wear his personal stuff on screen, too."

Apart from the jackets, Khan also gifted Dwivedi a painting. The source adds, "Nikhil had asked Salman to write down something for him.

But instead of writing a message, he painted something on the spot and gifted it to him. During their last meeting, Salman even encouraged the youngster to always be positive about his work."

Nikhil refused to comment saying it was a personal matter.

Salman Khan mends friend with John Abraham: In Bollywood, enmity is as common as a deep-layered friendship. Hence, it’s not a matter of grave astonishment that Salman Khan and John Abraham had been brewing some animosity for the last 4 years.
