Katrina Kaif pair with Vikram in Tamil Movie
Vikram has wrapped up his part in his upcoming film ‘Deiva Thirumagan.’ Director Vijay who won critical acclaim with his ‘Madraspattinam’ is helming this project. The film sees Vikram in the lead role with Anushka as his pair. Supporting the lead pair would be performances from Amala Paul and comedian Santhanam.
Vijay has revealed that the film has come out much better than expected thanks to the total involvement of the lead guy Vikram, who used to give the director many options for a single shot, say sources. The director also reveals that ‘Deiva Thirumagan’ is about the matters of the head and heart and the battle between the two. Now there is news doing the rounds that Vikram will be doing his next with Kannan who is behind the computer graphics in most of Shankar’s films. The film which is reported to have been titled ‘Karikalan’ is touted to involve a mega budget and show some magic on screen in terms of visual effects. There are reports that the director and hero are trying to rope in Bollywood babe Katrina Kaif! Now if this works out then this will be Katrina’s first take in Kollywood, and she would be lucky to share screen space with a versatile actor like Vikram.

Vikram is wrapping up work on Deiva Thirumagan and is all set to begin work on a brand new exciting project. The film is to be called Karikalan and it will be directed by Kannan who has been responsible for the graphics in director Shankar’s movies. Karikalan is expected to be a mega budget entertainer with impressive special effects.
It is to be produced by Silver Line Film Factory, the makers of the recent Singam Puli. The buzz is that Katrina Kaif will be the heroine as she is said to be perfect for the part and the entire team is keen that she be a part of this project. Harris Jayaraj will do the music.

Katrina & Ranbir team again
Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor are the hottest pair in tinsel town. No doubt, they top the wishlist of producers making celluloid love stories.
Just a few days back we reported about Ranbir Kapoor being signed up to play a medieval warrior in the remake of the Telugu superhit Magadheera. Now, we hear that Katrina Kaif is billed to bag the role of the princess the warrior is sworn to protect.
In the original film, Ram Charan Teja and Kajal Aggarwal wowed the fans with their sparkling chemistry. In the Hindi remake, to be produced by Madhu Mantena (producer of Ghajini), Ranbir and Katrina will recreate the eternal romance.
The film tells the story of a warrior who protects the princess of his kingdom, only to be killed and born again 400 years later to take his revenge. It’s essentially a love story between the warrior and the princess.
Given the subject, the director S S Rajamouli (director of Magadheera) and producer Mantena feel they need a couple who can bring out the passion on screen in the Hindi remake. Obviously, Ranbir and Katrina top their wishlist.
After all they do look good together, not just off the screen.
Will Aamir work with Katrina?
Will Aamir Khan to work with Katrina Kaif?: Aamir Khan who was hesitant to star opposite Katrina Kaif earlier as she was dating Salman Khan at that time is now ready to work with the actress post their break-up, according to the sources.
One year ago, Aamir Khan had told TOI, "Katrina is a huge star. But no filmmaker has come forward with a proposal to cast us.''
Around the same time, the two even featured in a photoshoot together, in which they reprised the look of Guru Dutt and Waheeda Rehman. After the photoshoot, there was a buzz about the two of them coming together in a film soon, but nothing happened.
Aamir reportedly even got an offer from a production house, but he couldn't say yes as Salman, Katrina were dating at that time. Now the same production house has approached Aamir again, and the actor might give his go-ahead this time around.
A source told TOI, "Now that Salman and Kat have split, Aamir may team up with the Bollywood diva."
Katrina's Sweet voice for Yashraj Upcoming Film "Mere Brother Ki Dulhan"
Katrina Kaif’s accented Hindi may be questionable but her sweet voice is sure suited for a crooner.
Taking the cue, Katrina has consented to sing a song in the upcoming Yashraj film Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, we hear. Kat was not initially gung-ho about singing for the film, but it was her co-star Ali Zafar, the Pakistani singer, who convinced her to try out singing.
Ali himself has sung three songs in the film, and Kat, reports say, has sung one. The music of the film is composed by Suhail Sen.
Mere Brother Ki Dulhan has Katrina paired with Imran Khan. The film is slated to release later this year.

"Nobody has ever written a poem for me. But if actually someone writes a poem for me, I think that will be very romantic," she said at the launch of Pritish Nandy’s book of love poems “Tonight, This Savage Rite”.
Looking her best in an off white-knee length dress, Katrina, 26, surprised everyone when she said: “I want Gulzar saab to write poems for me.”
Gulzar, 74, who has written innumerable songs for Hindi films and has many poetry books to his credit, was present at the event and said: “Inshallah, I would write a poem for Katrina for sure.”
The event was about love poems and it was but natural to know Katrina’s views on romance and the actress happily obliged everyone by sharing her opinion.
“Even though love is known to entail pain, disappointment, disillusionment, still I don’t want to be pessimistic about love. I would rather want to have a positive approach to love. I believe that there can be a happy ending, because love is the most beautiful thing in the world,” she said.
When asked about Valentine’s Day plans, she said: “I have no plans. I will be working on the day.”
